The 64th Pula Film Festival is very pleased to invite all interested children and youth to become a part of the festival and apply for the already traditional and popular workshops.
Professor Balthazar’s Adventure Laboratory is a workshop on animated film production, and for the 13th time this summer, it will open its doors to a new generation of young animated film fans.
We welcome all youngsters aged 7 to 12 who are looking for new things, experimenting, and exciting film ventures. The workshop is designed as a one-week programme where children will be introduced to the techniques of making and producing animated film. With leadership from Vibor Juhas and Manuel Šumberac, the participants will go through all of the segments of this process: developing a story, developing the script, creating characters and their personalities, the basics of animation and production.
The workshop will be held at the Circolo - Italian Community Pula from 12 July to 20 July, 2017. The attendance fee is 400 HRK, and 300 HRK for each additional child from the same family.
RED workshop for digital natives once again invites you into a world of everything you only could have seen on a TV or a big screen. Be a part of this creative and exciting event - work with cinematography enthusiasts and state of the art technology to make your own film. The workshop will be held in English, and all children aged 12 to 16 can apply. From 13 to 20 July, 2017, at the Pula Public Library, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., workshop leader Judita Gamulin will work with the participants in two sessions: a practical and an educational session, with special lectures organised in cooperation with leading film professionals. The attendance fee is 500 HRK, and 400 HRK for each additional child from the same family.
Applications for both workshops are open until 28 June, 2017 or until all places are filled. Applications are submitted via an online form.
