FIRST-RATE GASTRONOMIC TALE AND THE BEST SREET FOOD ARE COMING TO PULA’S CITY CENTRE

After Zagreb, Pula Food Festival Powered by Pan, a unique project presenting the best of street food, is coming to the centre of Istria.

Pula Food Festival Powered by Pan, a large gastronomic manifestation will be held from 15 to 22 July 2017 in Pula, in Titov park. This one-of-a-kind project presenting street food is held as part of Croatia Week Festival, which is organised for the second year in a row, aiming to travel through Croatia and present the best of street food and bring a different way of eating to the citizens and the tourists. This year’s edition of this beautiful gastronomic tale will be held in cooperation with Pula Film Festival and will be an oasis of sorts for all visitors, participants and guests of one of the largest and most important film festivals of the region.

So that guests and visitors feel comfortable at all times and enjoy the selection of culinary ideas, Pula Food Festival Powered by Pan has created a special menu that will leave no one indifferent. The menu includes, among other things: blue cheese burger, a 700 g ham steak, tzatziki lamb, a special recipe for pork neck developed by Lana Klingor Mihić, but also a range of other dishes, which will delight everybody who wants to be a part of this gastronomic adventure with their taste, but also their price point. As has been the case in previous years, Meat Industries Pivac will take care of meat delicacies, while Meggle herb butter will give a special appeal to all meat dishes, making them richer and even more delicious.

A good festival is always accompanied by top-quality drinks, and the superior Pan beer always goes with good grilled dishes. Golden Pan, Pan Lager, Somersby, Panonian beer styles, and Grimbergen beer will leave nobody indifferent, and all beer-lovers will be pleased with the beer situation. Feravina will make sure there is good gemišt and a good wine list, who are going to present their best varieties and selected vintages, while those who enjoy non-alcoholic drinks will be able to savour the irresistible fruity aroma of Pasareta, the cult beverage in Istria. This year’s Festival is made special by a Vergnano coffee corner, where awarded baristas will be making superior coffee and chilled coffee cocktails.

All trips require a car, and Pula Food Festival Powered by Pan is starting its gastronomic adventure with the new Kia Sportage, a car whose features and possibilities can cater to the needs of Croatia Food Festival and round off this successful gastronomic adventure. Lots of good food, excellent gastronomic specialities, surprises and prizes are the best invitation to Pula Food Festival and to spending time with people with scrumptious food, cold drinks and great fun. Titov park will be a must place in Pula this summer.
