Toda’s father is the best pastry chef in town. The family’s carefree existence is interrupted when a war breaks out and her father has to defend their country. During their professional career, every train driver inadvertently kills 20 to 30 people. Their victims are usually suicides, and careless, drunken, or simply absent-minded people. This is a tragic comedy about innocent murderers and their lives.

Miloš Radović (1955) is a Serbian screenwriter and director. He has received some sixty international awards for his work, including a mention from the jury at Cannes in 1987, for his short film Iznenadna i prerana smrt pukovnika K. K. He has directed two feature films: Mali svet (2003) and Pad u raj (2004).

In early 1990s, two families survived a short, but devastating civil war in Georgia. Seeing how they found themselves on the winning side, they got the opportunity to go on with their lives in the abandoned houses of the defeated side. However, it is difficult to build a life during the period of peace in other people’s houses, while conflict is still raging.

Rusudan Glurjidze (1972) graduated in Romance languages and literature in Tbilisi. Since 2007, she has been working for Cinetech production company. This is her debut feature film.

Successful neurologist Lary joins a traditional family gathering commemorating his recently deceased father. In the usual manner of such gatherings, the luncheon does not go as planned – heated discussions escalate, differences of opinion arise, secrets are revealed, and insults are thrown around.

Cristi Puiu (1967) is one the most prominent and esteemed representatives of the Romanian New Wave. He has directed, inter alia, the films Aurora (2010) and The Death of Mr. Lazarescu (2005), which received Un Certain Regard mention at Cannes. He established the production company Mandragora with Anca Puiu.

Nenad Đurić (1970) graduated in comparative literature from the Faculty of Philosophy in Sarajevo. Since 1994, he has been working for Bosnia and Herzegovina Television as director and producer. He has directed documentary films Collapse – Guide for Urban Sleepers, Pro Populo, Once Upon a Time in The West of Bosnia and his debut feature Skies Above the Landscape.

Igor Šterk (1968) graduated at Ljubljana Film Academy. His second feature film Ljubljana premiered at the 2002 Rotterdam Film Festival. Tuning, his third feature, had a world premiere in competition at Karlovy Vary Film Festival in 2005. His short Every Breath You Take (2008) was selected in competition at the Venice Film Festival.

On a small raft, Homer and Joé, both in their fifties, go up a river to waterfalls in Croatia. Until the recent death of their father, they were ignorant of each other’s existence. Yet they are half-brothers. Sean, an enigmatic and lying Irish adventurer joins them.

Marion Hänsel has made 12 feature films, including Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea, which screened at the 1995 Cannes Film Festival. Tenderness (2013) premiered at Rotterdam, and Black Ocean at Venice Days. In 1997, she founded her own production company, Man's Films Productions.
