The winner of this year's Marijan Rotar Award, presented by the Governing Board of the Public Institution Pula Film Festival to individuals and institutions for exceptional merit in supporting and promoting Pula Film Festival is Hrvatski Telekom.

The award bears the name of the man who founded Pula Film Festival, and is one of the most important awards of the Festival alongside the Golden Arena for Best Film.

"Over the years, strong cooperation has developed in almost all segments of organising the Festival; it is therefore difficult to imagine the Festival being realised without such a reliable partner. All of the Festival programmes are presented with the help of Hrvatski Telekom, with high level support in organisation, promotion and telecommunications, which enables the Festival to follow new global technologies of today. Over all of the years, Hrvatski Telekom has worked to serve culture and film with the intent of bringing the Festival closer to people who love film across Croatia, who can't come to the Festival themselves. Another important segment of their work is promoting the Festival through their own campaign channels, contributing to the number of visitors to Festival programmes and placing Pula in the focus of Croatian film culture during the Festival", the Governing Board elaborates.

 

In the hope that the long-standing and already traditional cooperation between Hrvatski Telekom and Pula Film Festival will continue in its 16 consecutive year, on behalf of the Board of Hrvatski Telekom, the award was received by Saša Kramar, member of the Board of Hrvatski Telekom for business users.
