Set in Perth in 1987 and inspired by real crimes, Hounds of Love takes place in the aftermath of a murderous couple’s abduction of a seventeen-year-old Vicki Maloney. Suspecting the many problems plaguing her captors, and attuned to marital issues following her own parents’ recent split, Vicki fights for her life by trying to expose the imbalances in their relationship.

Ben Young (1982), Subiaco, Western Australia, holds an MA in Professional Communications from the WA Screen Academy. Hounds of Love is his debut feature film. He is currently working on his first studio project, an SF thriller Extinction.
