Four very different people live in the same building, but avoid each other because of their different lives, what they believe in, and where they come from. They would probably never exchange a word, but misfortune pushes them towards each other. Slowly, and even painfully, they begin to open up to each other and recognise the essential humanity they have.

Rajko Grlić (1947) graduated in film directing at FAMU in Prague, Czech Republic, in 1971. As director and scriptwriter he has worked on many successful features: Neka ostane među nama (2010), Karaula (2006), Čaruga (1991), Samo jednom se ljubi (1981) etc. He wrote scripts for films and TV shows (Grlom u jagode). He wrote, directed and produced an award-winning interactive film school multi-media How to Make Your Movie – An Interactive Film School. He is Ohio Eminent Scholar in Film at Ohio University, Athens.
