59-year-old Ove is the block’s grumpy man. Several years earlier, he was deposed as president of the condominium association. But he doesn’t care, and keeps looking over the neighbourhood with an iron fist. When Parvaneh and her family move into the house opposite, and accidentally back into Ove’s mailbox, it turns out to be an unexpected friendship.
Hannes Holm (1962) made most of his films with Måns Herngren, including his feature debut One in a Million (1995) and the festival hit Adam & Eve (1997). His works also include TV series and commercials.
