Legendary explorer Jacques Cousteau and his estranged son Philippe embark on their greatest adventure. Aboard the Calypso, they will find each other – before tragedy strikes. The film was shot, among other places, on the Croatian islands in the Adriatic Sea.

Jérôme Salle (1971) wrote and directed his first feature, Anthony Zimmer in 2004. The film had an American remake: The Tourist (2010). In 2013 he co-wrote and helmed Zulu.
